Become a Beaches Billet

Dear Beaches Lacrosse Members and Family,

Toronto Beaches Jr. A Lacrosse is looking for billets and local job opportunities for their upcoming 2020 season.

Billeting provides families the opportunities to have their children spend time with a Jr. A athlete, who can act as a mentor for your child and build connections that lasts a lifetime. Your child will build a better understanding of what it means to be a lacrosse player at a Jr. A level, and also an opportunity to let you make a difference within your community.

Billets are an important part of making a junior lacrosse team a success by providing a home and support to the player(s). Billeting can be a very exciting and rewarding experience. As a billet family, you play a very important role. By opening your home to the player(s) you provide them with a stable and secure home away from home.

As the billet of a Beaches Jr. “A” player(s), you are responsible for simply providing our player(s) with a living environment that will allow them to thrive throughout the summer season on and off the playing floor.

Billeting details are as follows:

I. Billets will be required to house their player(s) from May 1 until the end of July. Depending on the team’s success, the end date may vary.

II. Billeted players will be made to understand that they are responsible for their own transportation to and from the arena and the team will assist them with this. Billets are NOT required to transport their player but are welcome to assist their player if they feel inclined.

III. Billeted players will be maintaining jobs throughout the summer with assistance from the team.

IV. Billets will receive $500 per month for housing a player. Billeted players will understand that they are to help with some food cost even though their billet is providing meals.

V. Billets will receive a pair of Season Tickets valued at $100 per ticket.

If you are interested in becoming a Beaches Jr. A billet please complete the application form below and e-mail it to Gameday Operations Manager Bliss Gatenby.
